What makes it Special? THEhotel at Mandalay Bay is a 43-storey tower filled with nothing but suites. And furniture. And food. And staff. And you…if you can afford it.
Entertainment Attraction: Your entertainment options for THEhotel are the same as those for the standard Mandalay Bay. But there’s enough of Michael Jackson One and Cirque de Soleil to go around.
Number of Rooms: 3,309
Overview:
So, what else sets THEhotel at Mandalay Bay apart from the rest of the Mandalay Bay? For starters, every suite measures at least 725 square feet and has a wet bar. THEhotel was also awarded a certificate of excellence by Trip Advisor back in 2012. That’s proof that the tower has been much more than a gimmicky cash grab.
There are three unique suite designs: THEsuite, V Suite and THE H Suite. The latter of those three is really the pinnacle as THE H has 1,674 square feet, a living room that can fit 20 people and two 42” plasma TVs. As the kids would say – that’s straight ballin’.
Between restaurants, buffets and snack bars, the entire Mandalay Bay resort has close to 30 different options, two of which are located in THEhotel. Two may not seem like much but a closer inspection reminds us that the devil is in the details.
Situated in the tower’s grand lobby is the café with Chef Jay Calimlim, where you’ll find Safe Harbor sustainable seafood, homegrown herbs and, most importantly, handcrafted Bloody Marys. As great as the café sounds for breakfast or midday, if you want to play with the big boys come dinnertime, you’re going to want to head up to miX. Started by Chef Alain Ducasse, miX is now run by Chef Bruno Riou, who serves up a menu that includes spicy crab salad, pepper crusted bison tenderloin and a New York strip.
For something as luxurious as THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, we know what you’re wondering. Yes, there is a spa. BATHHOUSE has everything you could want when taking a load off from all that relaxing you’re already doing: steam rooms, saunas and 12 treatment rooms.
