Location: Off the Strip
What makes it Special? Palms Casino Resort is made up of three towers: Palms Place, Palms Fantasy Tower and Palms Ivory Tower). Ivory is the original tower but Fantasy comes with a Barbie Suite.
Entertainment Attraction: With the weekly cornucopia of entertainment, we’ve decided to dub Palms “Party Central” for off the strip accommodations – if you’re into that sort of thing.
Number of Rooms: 703
Overview:
Well, we mentioned the parties at the Palms Casino Resort – now let us back that up. There are the legendary Ditch Friday pool parties, which draw performers such as B.O.B., Method Man, Redman and Busta Rhymes. We did the math and Busta still raps more syllables a minute than anyone alive today – nice try, Dizzee Rascal.
Fortunately, you don’t need to get wet to enjoy some live entertainment. The Pearl Concert Theatre and The Lounge, round up a list of music venues that attract some of the country’s biggest acts. The Lounge is also home to 15-piece band, Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns, who play every Monday night. Even niftier than that is the 8,000 square-foot Studio at the Palms. Open 24/7, the studio has all the technical gadgetry a would-be musician or band could dream of.
Like a lot of Vegas hotels, booking a stay early in the week could save you a couple of hundred dollars per night compared to the weekend. So if you’re coming just to relax, hang by the tranquil Palms Place Pool, experience a diverse culinary offering and maybe record some music, you’ll be in good shape. However, missing the weekend will also mean missing the best performances that Palms has to offer. The other thing to keep in mind, of course, is that this is a party resort and that just isn’t for everybody.
