Hotel Guide
Location: 3770 Las Vegas Boulevard South (The Strip)
What makes it Special? We like attractions, but those aren’t the biggest a priority at Monte Carlo, which has a AAA 4-Diamond rating. This proves that you don’t need a circus to receive industry recognition.
Entertainment Attraction: Despite what we wrote above, you should still find sufficient entertainment in the form of Zumantiy: The Sensual Side of Cirque de Soleil and Blue Man Group.
Number of Rooms: 2,992
Overview:
Note: You know how we sometimes come perilously close to sounding clever or amusing in our overviews? We’re not even going to try here because Monte Carlo already has us beat.
If you navigate to the VIP Vault section of the website you will find a series of videos that are a mix of entertaining and informative. We don’t want to give too much away, so we’re going to leave it at this: Vikings Into Pedicures, Vampires In Pajamas, Vaguely Inappropriate Penguins and other VIPs.
Back to our overview….There are nine different places for you to get your eat and/or drink on. Andre’s Restaurant has the industry recognition that allows it to be called one of Vegas’ best. What could better than a dinner from celebrity chef André Rochat? A dinner at The Pub, that’s what. We have certain affection for a place with the tagline “Eat Like a King. Drink Like the Village Idiot”. It speaks to us.
We never considered ourselves much for sports betting – but that was before we started looking at the offerings at a few dozen hotel casinos. In the case of Monte Carlo we have Score. This race and sports book gives you all the goods you would expect with straight bets, parlays, teasers and even an exclusive “Money Line Card”.
In our opinion the most attractive thing about this hotel is the assortment of daybeds and cabanas available on the pool deck. If ‘Lazy River European Day Bed’ doesn’t sound relaxing to you, then prepare for a life of never being relaxed. Now you just have to ask yourself if that makes up for the limited number of performers.
