What makes it Special? Back in 2008, the Lucky Club Casino and Hotel was fortified with $5 million in renovations. That may have also had something to do with an electrical fire that occurred in June of the same year.

Overview:
For an establishment whose name has only been around for five years, the Lucky Club Casino and Hotel has quite the colorful history. We can go back to the late 1980s when the property was a Budget Host Inn and suffering through a bout of bankruptcy. Since that time the property has been renamed four times, including the current label.
The Lucky Club Casino and Hotel accommodations may not impress patrons as much as other downtown hotels but the staff has been doing a good job of pulling their weight to ensure visits are enjoyable. They have actually built up a solid reputation as the hotel’s bright spot.
The Lucky Club is affiliated with both the Silver Nugget Casino and the Opera House Casino under the Lucky Silver Gaming umbrella. These other locales are located nearby and offer their own entertainment and dining options. We’re inclined to believe that the fare is good for the price. We believe – we’re just not enticed. With its ‘no frills’ setup, the Lucky Club will give you bargain deals and a promise that you won’t break the bank. But for us, there needs to be that something extra that sets it apart and lends it a unique identity.
DJ Ricochet spins at the Opera House every Thursday thru Saturday, while the Silver Nugget is home to bowling parties and an arcade. Maybe this is enough extra. But it’s just not enough Vegas.
