Days Inn Las Vegas

Hotel Review: Days Inn Las Vegas at Wild Wild West

3330 W Tropicana Avenue

Location: Off the Strip

What makes it Special? Very close to the Strip but with off-the-Strip prices

Entertainment Attraction: No shows, but there is the 24-hour casino Wild Wild West

Number of Rooms: 260

Overview: Part of the US-based Days Inn motel chain, this option is a bargain for guests who don’t mind staying in no-frills accommodation but want to be close to the action on the Strip. The Days Inn is located only a couple of blocks away from the excitement of Sin City’s most famous boulevard, but with its rock-bottom prices you wouldn’t think so.

The Days Inn’s great location and low rates mean that this is a hotel without the trimmings. Rooms are adequately if unimaginatively decorated. For those who want a little extra, there are four suites overlooking the hotel’s pool and Jacuzzi area, though they offer guests little more than 42” flat-screen TVs and views of the Vegas skyline. The Days Inn’s cheap and cheerful approach continues in its restaurant, which serves hearty, unpretentious dishes. Aside from gaming, entertainment options are limited to a bar without shows or live music. Guests who don’t venture onto the Strip in the evening are more likely to spend their time in the 24-hour casino, Wild Wild West, which features an impressive collection of slots and video poker machines, a sportsbook and table games.

Recommended for its proximity to the Strip, bargain prices and in-house casino, the Days Inn will however probably disappoint guests wanting some Vegas glamor.
