Clarion Hotel & Casino
305 Convention Center Drive
Location: Off-Strip
What makes it Special? In-House Wedding Chapel
Entertainment Attraction: “Shades of Sinatra” Tribute Show
Number of Rooms: 202
Overview:
The Clarion Hotel, a self-styled economy hotel and casino complex, is only a few blocks away from the Strip and right next to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Featuring its own in-house wedding chapel for couples hankering after Sin City nuptials, the Clarion Hotel also caters to those more interested in gaming than tying the knot with its casino, which, though small, features an impressive selection of classic coin-play slots. Aside from gambling, the Clarion offers a range of other entertainment in its Wolf Theater, where guests can take in “Shades of Sinatra”, a four-piece band honoring the music of Ol’ Blue Eyes, as well as comedy, magic and burlesque shows, before calling it a night.
The Clarion’s 202 rooms range from rooms with queen beds to grand spa suites. The accommodation is tastefully-decorated though somewhat basic due to the lack of luxury fittings. All guests have access to the hotel’s outdoor pool and whirlpool. Restaurant options are limited to the Clarion’s intimate bistro restaurant.
The Clarion’s a great option for those visiting Vegas on a budget, though its ‘no frills’ approach will likely deter visitors keen on enjoying a more luxurious stay in Sin City.
