Overview:
We’re not going to be in the least bit glib here – if you like the affordability and predictability of staying at Best Western hotels then this is the option for you. If you want to try something a bit more adventurous and unique to Vegas, you would be best looking elsewhere. It’s really that simple.
The Mardi Gras has a modest casino where you can accumulate points and turn them in for prizes such as a 32” television, DVD player, iPod, etc. The Best Western also has respectable meeting-room space with 4,000 square feet, which is good for about 200 people. If you have a smaller wedding or banquet this could provide you with a reasonably priced option.
We’re going to assume that you plan on spending the majority of your time away from the hotel…So do the kind people at Best Western. There’s a complimentary shuttle that will take you to and from both the airport and the Strip, which should help you to make the most of your visit to Sin City.
In the event that you take a day off from sight-seeing, the Mardi Gras does feature free high-speed wireless internet, a pool deck with a whirlpool spa and the 24-hour casino lounge where the aforementioned slot machines can be found.
The Best Western may not blow your mind – but it also won’t blow your budget.
