Best Beach & Pool Parties in Vegas this Summer

Summer Hotspots in Vegas

There are still three weeks to go until the Labor Day weekend, and even when September arrives the daytime weather rarely dips below 80°F. In short, summer in Sin City is still far from over!

So if you’re going to Las Vegas before fall, we provide you with the best way to beat the heat and stay chilled-out: head to one of the stylish beach or pool parties in Vegas to cool off and look cool at the same time.

Vegas Pool Parties: Mandalay Beach

Although the Mandalay Bay Hotel is located amidst the bustle of the Vegas Strip, you forget where you are the moment you arrive at the Mandalay Beach. That’s right, we said, ‘beach!’ And this isn’t just any kind of beach: there’s over 2,700 tons of real sand to laze on, and the beach is surrounded by a 1.6 million gallon wave pool. If you want privacy at the Mandalay Bay Beach, you’ve got it in (buckets and) spades by secluding yourself and your loved ones in one of the resort’s 100 rentable cabanas.

When you tire of being a beach bum, you can remain on the seaside of things by exploring the Mandalay’s Shark Reef. Unfortunately, this massive 1.6 million-gallon aquarium isn’t for scuba-diving, but you still get to see over 2,000 creatures from the deep, including sea turtles, crocodiles and sharks.

Vegas Pool Parties: Beachlife Pool Party at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas

The Hard Rock Hotel is one of Sin City’s most rock n’ rolling venues – and few places in the joint rock harder than the resort’s pool area known as Beachlife.  Comprising multiple pools such as the Nirvana area, the Breathe pool and Paradise Beach north and south, Beachlife offers visitors to Vegas one of the best aquatic pool parties.

One of the highlights of the Beachlife experience is Rehab, which takes place every Sunday during summertime at the Paradise beaches. Currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, the weekly event features world-class DJs and musicians. Check out Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion) at Rehab for the upcoming Labor Day Weekend.

Rehab, though, is only one of the Beachlife pool parties. Others include Summercamp Fridays, which features water-gun battles, and Nectar Saturdays, where partygoers encounter beats central in a beach-central setting.

Vegas Pool Parties: Bellagio Pools & Courtyards

Of all the luxury resorts on the Strip, the Bellagio is probably the one that’s most closely associated with water – no visit to Sin City is complete without a trip to marvel at the aquatic choreography of the Fountains of Bellagio. However, while this attraction is justifiably famous, it somewhat unfairly overshadows the resort’s pools and courtyards. While the Mandalay’s swimming area resembles a tropical beach and the Hard Rock Hotel’s Beachlife experience is the hottest yet coolest (if that’s not too much of a contradiction!) water party in town, the Bellagio’s poolside area is where you go for the classiest swimming experience in Vegas.

Exquisitely designed to accentuate the Bellagio’s Italian theme, the pool and courtyards are so beautiful that at first you’re simply transfixed by the view. Featuring five courtyard areas, a sophisticated pool café serving delicious Mediterranean dishes and a range of cabanas for hire, the Bellagio pool area has to be seen to be believed.
